STRIE'
The word strie' is a french word, meaning to comb through the glaze mixture with dry dragging tools such as a brush, in order to create fine lines and to reveal the base coat color underneath. It is more effective when a tool is placed next to a vertical-leveled edge and dragged down from the ceiling. It is recommended that the glaze mixture, or top coat, be oil based to prevent the surface from drying too quickly.
